Original: Someone Vibe Coded a Free Knockoff of Adobe Creative Suite https://gizmodo.com/someone-vibe-coded-a-free-knockoff-of-ado

A developer has built a free, open-source alternative to Adobe's Creative Suite using AI-assisted 'vibe coding,' according to Gizmodo. The project offers creative tools meant to replace Adobe's paid software, tapping into ongoing frustration over Adobe's subscription pricing and growing interest in AI-generated software and open-source creative tools.

Why now: Ongoing backlash against Adobe's subscription pricing and rising interest in AI-assisted coding have made a free alternative to Creative Suite a talking point.
