Waydroid

Valve has released its internal fork of Waydroid, the Android-on-Linux container tool, as open source. The move lets developers inspect and build on the code that allows Android apps to run on SteamOS, particularly on the Steam Deck. Linux gaming commentators say it signals Valve's continued investment in expanding what its handheld and desktop Linux platforms can run beyond native and Proton games.
