Taguchi Rento

Tokyo Yakult Swallows have issued de facto release notices to six players, including pitcher Taguchi Rento, as well as Aoyagi Koyo and Numuta Shohei. Taguchi said he is not in a position to quibble over money as he explores ways to keep playing, both in NPB and elsewhere, and apologised to fans. The moves come as clubs finalise rosters ahead of the offseason.
