The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is calling on governments and businesses to cut red tape and design greener defaults so that choosing sustainable energy becomes the easy option. The agency argues that simplifying decisions and building sustainability into everyday systems would speed up the shift to cleaner energy across the region.
