Kosovo

Kosovo's parliament has publicly criticised the EU-backed court in The Hague after it convicted former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, the ethnic Albanian guerrilla force that fought Serbian forces in the 1998-99 war. Many lawmakers view the verdicts as an injustice against men widely regarded at home as heroes of the independence struggle.
