GLP-1 weight loss drugs

Supplement company Smidge has introduced a GLP-1 Companion Bundle aimed at people taking GLP-1 weight-loss medications, combining products intended to support digestive wellness and whole-food nutrition. A new report finds that 12.4% of teenagers taking GLP-1 weight-loss and diabetes medications are diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency within a year, and few of them receive nutrition counseling to offset the risk. The findings raise concerns about whether young patients on these increasingly prescribed drugs are getting adequate dietary support alongside treatment.
