Aven, a home equity lending platform, and RV manufacturer Forest River are bringing home equity line of credit financing directly to RV dealerships. The partnership lets buyers fund recreational vehicle purchases through their home equity at the point of sale, an alternative to traditional RV loans that may offer better rates. The move signals growing competition to channel home equity into big-ticket consumer purchases.
