AI chipmaker Cerebras has agreed to supply cloud startup Gimlet Labs with chips capable of drawing 100 megawatts of power, a major deal in the rapidly scaling market for AI computing capacity. AI chip company Cerebras Systems has agreed to supply AI computing systems to Gimlet Labs, a cloud computing startup. The deal, reported by Reuters, means the young cloud provider will build its AI infrastructure on Cerebras hardware, an alternative to GPU-based systems from Nvidia.
