Barron's

NASA astronaut Kayla Barron, originally from Richland, Washington, has been named to command her second space mission. Barron, a former Navy submarine officer who previously flew to the International Space Station in 2021, now takes on a leadership role for her next flight, a notable milestone for the astronaut from eastern Washington.
